Will my child be safe at Petag?
The Petag counselors and staff will do everything possible to assure the safety of all participants. If injury or sickness should occur, we have qualified medical staff on call for the duration of the 2 week program.
Where is the camp located?
The St. Raphaela Retreat Center is located on private grounds in Haverford, PA, which is 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia.
How are campers supervised?
Campers will be supervised at all times by our trained counselors and staff.
What if my child gets homesick?
Involve your child in planning for the camp experience by talking about it at home and by having them help with packing. The staff will do everything possible to make sure all children are comfortable. The staff will be reachable by phone and will reach out if there are any concerns. Where will my child sleep?
The St. Raphaela center has 2 twin beds per bedroom, most with private baths, others with shared baths. Boys and girls will be separated.
What will my child eat?
The retreat center has a full service kitchen that will make breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all Petag participants. There will also be snacks in between meals. Children are not to bring food to Petag.
